The Solution
Jennifer and I have taken a few road trips and researched the trending markets and where our customers were moving. The TWO places were Blue Ridge mountains of Georgia and Greenville South Carolina. We visited both and moved customers to both.
Based on what we see trending and what our customers leaving Florida most are looking for we see the Greenville South Carolina as the next big GO-TO destination. So much so that Jennifer and I are EXPANDING our business to a DUAL AGENCY and OPENING UP and OFFICE in SOUTH CAROLINA to service the Greenville wide MLS.

This site was created by Jennifer and Philip owners of the Taberski Real Estate Team and MyDigitalListing.com based in Southwest Florida the last (13) thirteen years. We migrated from Western NY in our motorhome looking for the dream of SUN, FUN and LOWER COSTS over the COLD, LONG WINTERS and DRIVING COSTS of New York State.
And, we found it!
Punta Gorda is the town we settled on. Jennifer decided to take on the real estate industry. I joined her as her marketing and sales expert and together we built a booming business generating 40 plus millions annually.
Over those THIRTEEN YEARS we personally had SIX homes of our own, FIVE boats and more FUN that anyone should be allowed. We shared that will over 750 customers too all of whom came down from Northern states for exactly the same reasons we did.
Over the years something happened. The SUN and FUN stayed the same or got better but the COST, well, SKY ROCKETED.
What to do?
In the last TWO YEARS we have seen a significant uptick of our customers SELL and move OUT OF STATE. Many were moving to Georgia, Tennessee, Texas and North Carolina. As a matter of fact the US CENSUS BUREAU released new data showing that in 2022 more than 500,000 people LEFT THE STATE OF FLORIDA.
